Website Meeting notes – Nov 6, 2012

The website committee held a meeting with condo residents on November 6, 2012. We heard the following points:

  •  We need to consider how the website will be used  for private communication (matters of interest to residents) and for public communication (matters of interest to non-residents). Discussions about what constitutes public/private information will require on-going consideration as the website continues to evolve.
  • There needs to be a webmaster who is responsible for administering private domain access and for overseeing web updates and content. The email address of the web master should be clearly available on the website so people can send information directly to that person.
  • We need to continue to add more content. The website could be used for regular Board updates; to provide access to club and committee information; to announce upcoming meetings and events; to provide links to local services and amenities; and to post other information relevant to residents.
  • We need to think about setting up public & private domain Access.

Following this meeting, the website committee will

*set up public and private domain access to the website

*Post email addresses for webmaster, Board, and Condo Committees

*continue to develop the website and seek input from residents for ideas about new content

 

 

 

 

Book Exchange

A reminder to all residents, there is a book exchange in the Party Room on the ground floor.

There is an opportunity to either donate any books that you are wanting to discard or find something to read.

Annual General Meeting – August 16th, 2012

The meeting will be held in the Condo Party room tonight – August 16th at 7.00pm.

Registration will commence at 6.30pm.

If a quorum is not registered by 7.00pm, the meeting will be adjourned.

A proxy, the May 19, 2011 annual general minutes, the reserve fund study/(Form 15) summary and the December 31, 2011 audited financial statements were distributed to the owners on July 9th, 2011.
